BADRINATH at the height of 10248 feet from sea level known as Devbhoomi. Where lord Narayana performed rigorious penance for thousands of Years. Badrinath is considered the holiest of the four main shrines of utterakhand. The town situated on left bank of Alaknanda river, Divided by two mountains of Nar & Narayana Parvat. There flows ushna ganga ( warm water ) and sheetal ganga ( cold water ), Yakshas Gandharvas, Rishies and Munis always live there. The place is too sacred. Badrinathjee temple remains open from May to mid of november only.
